TUESDAY, 7PM

She is one tough cookie I’ll tell ya. Having met her in person, it’s not hard to tell. Working as a police officer in late 80’s/early 90’s NYC, you needed to be. What’s more is for just under a decade she was underground working with the New York City Transit Police.

After honing her skills in Districts 20, 4, and 2, she found her way to the rescue side when in 1991, she joined the department’s Emergency Medical Rescue Unit.

When the merger of 1995 took place, she first worked in The Bronx as a member of Truck 3, then Harlem in Truck, 6 months in the A-Team, Queens in Truck 10, and lastly Floyd Bennett Field as a lead instructor teaching the next crop of E-Cops.

Her name is Anita Rosato and Tuesday, she’ll join me for Volume 32 of The E-Cops: Inside The NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit.
