Joining the NYPD in 1993, she was a proud Bronx cop working in the southern end of the borough during a time in which residents had had enough of the crime, and police were being encouraged to be pro-active. Pro-active she was, as both a patrol cop and Vice undercover, taking down Johns seeking a cheap thrill.
In 1998, she’d take pro-active policing to a whole new level when she joined the Emergency Service Unit. Staying in The Bronx to start, she worked in Truck 4 before heading out to Queens for the fun of Truck 10. Oh, did I mention she was also a counter sniper? I’m talking about Tina Guerrero who’s the guest for Volume 34 of The E-Cops: Inside The NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit!
