2023 has been a big year for New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Deputy Chief Paul Miller. With close to 30 years on the job, he was promoted to his current rank this year and additionally, tasked with leading the FDNY side of operations in counterterrorism for the department’s Counterterrorism and Disaster Preparedness Center.
