During the 1980’s was under siege thanks to the brutal combination of crime and crack. But that didn’t deter NYC firefighters like Jim Graham from getting the job done. In this instance, in one of the best stories I’ve ever heard, getting the job done involved saving a family who as the retired FDNY Captain shares, got to thank him in person when the arsonists who nearly caused their deaths stood trial.
