Suffice to say, policing has faced numerous challenges in the last few years. Right now many an officer and supervisor alike are fighting to keep the spirit of the job alive in a time where morale and disillusionment threatens both public safety and police morale.

As the highest ranking uniformed officer in the NYPD, it’s a challenge former Chief of Department Ken Corey recognized. But as is always the case, modern problems present modern solutions.
