Longevity’s rare these days. It’s hard to find people still invested in their job who genuinely enjoy what they do and want to keep doing it. Yet the more I spend time around fireman, the less rare it seems. There’s few professions where folks don’t want a leave. The fire service is one of them. 33 years into the job, Chief of Operations John Esposito is far from finished.

He was a great guest and someone I’m glad joined me for the milestone Volume 50 of The Best of The Bravest: Interviews With The FDNY’s Elite.

Outro Song: Dave Matthews Band – Crush (1998)
