25 years in public service in New York City. First a policeman sworn in 1994 he traded in the sector car for the rig after a year in 1995.
With his first stop in The Bronx with Truck 17, he’d have a stop at pre-Squad Engine 288, Engine 50, and Truck 17 for a second round before his 1999 entry into the Special Operations Command with Squad 61 in The Bronx.
Staying there until his promotion to Lieutenant in 2004, his next few years featured stops in the 7th Division and Rescue School before his 2007 return to SOC this time with Squad 270 where he’d stay until his retirement in 2019.
