He has the FDNY in his blood, after all he is a 3rd generation firefighter. For 15 years he was on the line and along the way worked in special commands such as Squad 41 and Squad 61, both in The Bronx and Rescue 4 in Queens. In addition to that he also proudly represented the FDNY as a member of FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 1 and that for Volume 55 of The Best of The Bravest: Interviews with The FDNY’s Elite will be retired FDNY Lieutenant Mike Roy.
