6 hours worth of content this week on the Mic’d In New Haven podcast. All more than worth it of course when I get to profile the great members of the FDNY & NYPD. Last night’s guest was FDNY Lieutenant Mike Roy.
In what now holds the record as the show’s longest interview, breaking Tony Johnson’s, the Lieutenant recalled a crazy amount of awesome stories with a common theme: a small world, even in the big ocean that is both the FDNY & NYC. This one? His first job as a Lieutenant with a chauffeur who was a VERY familiar face.
What a highly enjoyable Volume 55 of The Best of The Bravest: Interviews with The FDNY’s Elite!
Outro Song: Glenn Frey – The Heat is On (1984)
