(FRIDAY, 7PM)
After an 8 month hiatus, Tales From The Boom Room is back. The guest we welcome for the first edition of the cornerstone miniseries? A man with an incredibly diverse 27 year career in law enforcement. Originally beginning his journey with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office in 1987, he’d venture into the NYPD in 1988 where for the next 26 years his mixed bag included the 43rd Precinct, Anti-Crime, the Street Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Robbery Intervention Program, Special Victims, Hostage Negotiation, and finally the Bomb Squad where he’d spend the last decade of his career from 2004 until 2014. He’s still active in the bomb technicians field as we’ll talk about and that is William Neice who’ll joins me for Volume 36 of Tales From The Boom Room: Profiles Of The NYPD’s Arson & Explosion and Bomb Squad.
