I’ve wanted him as a guest for a while and Friday I’ll get him finally. Whole first responders in New York City have been getting it done, my next guest has been photographing them hard at work. A first responder himself, he was a Chief at one point for Brooklyn’s Shore Front Volunteer Ambulance Corps. A photographer since the age of 16, he’s snapped shots of everything from police stand offs, to blazing fires, to the terrorist attack of 9/11 with previous stops including the New York Daily News and New York Post. A former spokesman for FEMA, he’s currently the Emergency Management Coordinator for the New York City Housing Authority and that is Mr. David Burns who will join me now on the Mic’d In New Haven Podcast
