Involved in public service for over 35 years. His law enforcement career began with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office in Columbia, SC, from 1990 to 1997. In 1998, he joined the NYPD and worked at the 77th Precinct in Crown Heights, serving in various capacities including Patrol, SNEU, and undercover operations. He later joined the elite Emergency Service Unit in 2005, where he became an instructor and one of only seven Tactical Medics. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards, including the Medal for Valor. After retiring in 2018 due to a shoulder injury, he continues to teach medics in Florida.
