He has built an impressive career in fire and rescue services, spanning over two decades of leadership and specialized operations. He began his journey serving in the US Marine Corps Reserves from 1995 to 2002, while also earning a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from New Jersey City University. His career in public service started in Morris County Juvenile Corrections before transitioning to North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue (NHRFR) in 2004, where he worked as a firefighter in Special Operations. Promoted to Captain in 2010, Battalion Chief in 2017, and Deputy Chief in 2022, he now serves as Chief of Special Operations and Law Enforcement/Military Liaison and that is Deputy Chief Al Pratts who will join us for Volume 4 of The Best of The Bravest: Nationwide Edition.
