He has spent over three decades serving the FDNY, rising through the ranks from firefighter to Chief of Safety Command. He began his career in Brooklyn’s Ladder 175, before moving to Rescue Company 4 in Queens, where he responded to the 9/11 attacks. He later held leadership roles in Manhattan, including Battalion Chief in Times Square, overseeing responses to major incidents like the Miracle on the Hudson and Hurricane Sandy. Now the FDNY Chief of Safety and Liaison to the NYC Office of Emergency Management, his extensive experience spans both local and national disaster relief efforts.
