He worked the desert primarily as a police officer and later detective with the Tuscon, Arizona Police Department. With previous stints at the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and Casa Grande Police Department.
In 1993, he’d notch another belt in his career with his transition into the Tuscon Police Department would pave the way for the unique experience that was being a homicide detective, a role he’d hold with distinction from 1998 until his retirement in 2016. He’s Detective Bill Hanson and Wednesday he joins me for Volume 4 of The Beat: Profiles of Police Nationwide.
