He’s a man who has worn many hats over the course of a career that’s taken him from the gridiron to the broadcast booth to the radio. A native Long Islander, he spent 13 seasons in the NFL, the highlight of his career being the 1988 season where he won the NFL MVP award & took the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl. After his playing days ended in 1997, he took to the booth, briefly serving as a color analyst for ABC’s Monday Night Football & broadcasting a record 19 consecutive Super Bowls for Westwood One Radio. In 2007, he furthered his broadcasting career, taking over the WFAN morning slot which he has held to this day, currently serving as the co-host of the successful Boomer & Gio program on WFAN.
