This week on Mic’d In New Haven, it’s Best of The Bravest — and my guest is retired FDNY Chief Joe Jardin.
A veteran chief whose career spanned engine, ladder, rescue, squad, division, and bureau-level command, Chief Jardin’s leadership touched nearly every operational layer of the department. From busy Brooklyn companies to Rescue Operations, from division command to ultimately serving as Chief of Fire Prevention, his path reflects both fireground credibility and high-level administrative responsibility.
He also served as Executive Officer to the Chief of Safety during a pivotal period for the FDNY — bringing operational insight and steady leadership when it mattered most.
That’s retired FDNY Chief Joe Jardin, on Best of The Bravest — only on the Mic’d In New Haven Podcast.
