(MONDAY, 6PM)
This week on Mic’d In New Haven, it’s another volume of The E-Men: Inside The NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit — and my guest is Bob Kauer.
Bob began his career in one of New York City’s toughest environments — the Department of Correction — before earning his place in Emergency Service. Operating on an island where the mindset was simple — handle it yourself — he developed into a highly skilled technical rescue operator and a graduate of the NYPD’s Special Training School.
After responding to September 11th and remaining on scene throughout the operation, his career took on a new direction — moving from operator to educator. Today, he continues that mission as a chief instructor with ROCO Rescue, helping train responders around the world.
That’s Bob Kauer, on The E-Men: Inside The NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit — only on the Mic’d In New Haven Podcast.
