(MONDAY, 6PM)
This week on Mic’d In New Haven, returning guest Ed Hartnett joins the show for an important and difficult conversation.
A retired NYPD Chief and the current Police Commissioner of Yonkers, Ed has spent decades in law enforcement leadership. Now, he’s working with the International Association of Chiefs of Police to shed light on a troubling issue that often goes unseen — police suicides after retirement.
Through firsthand experience and conversations with officers across the country, he’s raising awareness about a problem many believe is far larger than we realize — and pushing for ways to identify, track, and ultimately prevent these tragedies.
It’s a powerful discussion about mental health, life after the badge, and the responsibility to take care of those who spent their careers protecting others.
That’s Ed Hartnett, on the Mic’d In New Haven Podcast.
