This week on Mic’d In New Haven, it’s another volume of The Beat: Profiles of Police Nationwide — and my guest is former LAPD Detective Greg Kading.

A veteran homicide investigator, Greg rose to the rank of Detective III in the elite Robbery-Homicide Division, handling some of the most complex and high-profile cases in Los Angeles. Known for methodical casework and relentless follow-through, he built a reputation for taking on cases others couldn’t close.

That reputation ultimately led him to head the task force re-examining the murders of Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace — bringing new insight and clarity to cases that had remained unsolved for years.

Today, he continues that work through writing, consulting, and investigative work in the private sector.

That’s Greg Kading, on The Beat: Profiles of Police Nationwide — only on the Mic’d In New Haven Podcast.
