This week on Mic’d In New Haven, my guest is Maggie Kent — a Philadelphia native whose journalism career took her from the Big Apple back home to the City of Brotherly Love.
After getting her start as an intern at WABC-TV, Maggie worked her way through the ranks as a reporter for News 12 in the Bronx, covering some of New York City’s toughest stories, before moving on to WCBS New York, where she reported citywide.
After nearly a decade in New York, she returned home in 2018 to join WPVI-TV — better known as Action News 6 ABC — where she continues to tell the stories that matter most to her community.
From the Bronx to Philly, it’s a career built on grit, reporting, and storytelling.
