(WEDNESDAY, 6PM)
This week on Mic’d In New Haven, it’s Best of The Bravest — and my guest is Ken Delaney.
Ken built a career rooted in service long before he ever stepped into an FDNY firehouse. From serving in the United States Navy as a hull maintenance technician, to policing the streets of Washington, D.C. and New York with the U.S. Park Police, to flying missions as a Federal Air Marshal in the years immediately following 9/11, his path to the FDNY was anything but conventional.
But once he got on the job, he found himself exactly where he belonged — operating out of Engine 59 in the Harlem Zoo, one of the busiest fire environments in New York City.
Military service. Federal law enforcement. The FDNY.
