(MONDAY, 7:30PM)
This week on Mic’d In New Haven, my guest is Andrés Mahecha — a retired law-enforcement professional whose career placed him in some of the most dangerous arenas in modern policing.
From street-level undercover work and organized crime investigations in New York City, to international counter-narcotics operations alongside the Colombian National Police and military units overseas, Andrés lived the kind of cases most people only read about. A former NYPD Detective First Grade, HSI Task Force Officer, and FDLE Special Agent, his assignments spanned borders, agencies, and some of the most complex criminal networks in the world.
It’s a firsthand look at the realities of undercover work, international operations, and life behind the badge.
That’s Andrés Mahecha, on the Mic’d In New Haven Podcast.
